'Tis
the Season for M.O.M. 5.4
There's no need to wait for Santa if integration between
M.O.M. and FedEx® tops your holiday wish list. M.O.M. Version 5.4 now
includes an ODBC connection to the FedEx Ship Manager program for all
Automatic Shipping Calculations Module (ASCM) users.
Using this new shipping option, M.O.M. transfers required
customer and package information directly to FedEx. And, once the FedEx
Ship Manager completes its shipping process, M.O.M. will receive and
import tracking number information to each order record for easy access
during later customer service inquiries.
The interface to FedEx Ship Manager replaces M.O.M.'s
previous integration with the FedEx Powership system and keeps
multi-carrier options opened for those M.O.M. merchants that rate shop. As
a result, ASCM users in M.O.M. 5.4 will now have direct interface access
to systems from UPS®, USPS®, FedEx and even DHL®.
Best of all, the elves in the Dydacomp development
department have a lot more in store for 5.4 users. Following are some
highlights from this latest "dot" release:

Change product selling prices by percentage over the
current Selling Prices or Unit Cost Basis for both retail and
special pricing levels.

Search for orders by Item Alternate ID or eCheck
Account Number. Perfect for fast lookups for items sold through eBay
using the Web Auction Management Module (WAMM), Amazon using the
Amazon Order Management Module (AOM) or order paid for via eCheck.

Manage order promotions through New Pricing,
Customer, Order, Shipping and SiteLINK tabs.

Add a free product to an order based on a minimum
and maximum dollar amount spent.

Select flat rate shipping using a specified shipping
method with order promotions.

Extend order promotions to online shoppers through
SiteLINK.

Allow or restrict users from changing customer sales
ID and source key in more areas

Run a Journal Activity Report for eChecks payments
and/or refunds.

Redeem partial points toward order total.

for all M.O.M. 5.0 users that maintain an active Dydacomp support
