Authorize.Net Announces The Adoption of eCheck.Net by Dydacomp

BURLINGTON, MA - (MARKET WIRE) - Authorize.Net Corp., a service of Lightbridge, Inc., (Nasdaq:LTBG) today announced that eCheck.NetŪ, its fully integrated electronic check payment solution, has been adopted by Dydacomp, a leading provider of business automation software for the catalog industry.

As one of the pioneer electronic check payment solutions available to Card Not Present merchants, eCheck.Net has long been a popular alternative to credit card payments. By accepting electronic checks, Dydacomp's 10,000 merchants can expand the payment options and convenience available to their customers, potentially increasing customer loyalty and revenues. Dydacomp's adoption of eCheck.Net follows two releases of major enhancements to eCheck.Net over the past year.

In November 2004, Authorize.Net announced a series of feature enhancements to eCheck.Net including:

  • Expanded support for corporate, prearranged and call center transactions.
  • Support for transactions to business checking accounts.
  • New and improved reporting tools for viewing batch statistics, chargebacks and returned items.
  • Improved reconciliation abilities with a new funding calculation statement.
  • Enhanced settlement statement allowing merchants to view entry details.

Additionally, on September 13, 2005 Authorize.Net announced additional eCheck.Net enhancements for both resellers and merchants, including:

  • More flexible pricing options including lower buy rates.
  • Ability to initiate the eCheck.Net setup process from within the Authorize.Net Reseller Interface.
  • Expedited up-front transaction validation providing merchants with faster transaction results.
  • Additional fee withholding summaries to help make merchant reconciliation even easier.
  • A new streamlined eCheck.Net application.
