Dydacomp to Debut its New Address Correction Service at the 2006 NCOF Conference
TOTOWA, NJ - Dydacomp, the leading provider of business automation software for ecommerce & catalog merchants, has announced that it will showcase its new address correction service at the upcoming National Conference on Operations & Fulfillment (NCOF).
Designed specifically for businesses that already use Dydacomp's popular Mail Order Manager (M.O.M.) software, the address correction & verification service integrates directly with Mail Order Manager during real time order entry, order imports and even in a batch mode for preparation of mailing campaigns.
For ecommerce and mail order business, adding the address service to an operation could yield big operational savings. Albert Realuyo, Vice-President of Product Management at Dydacomp, says, "With carriers now charging up to ten dollars for each address correction, merchants that ship can't afford to trust address quality to the rushed customer who orders online or to the call center rep trying to fulfill a call per day quota." He added, "Mail Order Manager's address correction service provides a level of automated logic to the order entry and import process, comparing entered address details against current USPS databases to quickly correct costly typos."
Further savings can be found during mailing projects where inaccurate address information quickly steals the profit from a campaign one stamp at a time. Each correction in such a campaign not only saves a business the postage but often makes an even larger impact in the area of marketing materials which, in most cases, cannot be salvaged once mailed and returned from a bad address.
Reducing carrier imposed address correction fees and minimizing postage and marketing material waste on mailings are not the only benefits of the new service either. The address correction service also works to improve customer service each and every time it corrects an address. "Many of the shipping delays that often turn happy customers into frustrated ones can now be avoided," says Albert Realuyo. He continued, "Just think how pleased customers and customer service representatives alike will be when more packages are delivered on time and without incident. It's priceless goodwill that makes good business sense and just can't be overlooked."
Dydacomp's address correction service for Mail Order Manager is already installed at hundreds of merchant locations and subscribers can learn more at www.dydacomp.com/acvm or by visiting the Dydacomp's NCOF (www.ncof.com) booth April 10-11, 2006.
